The best place to meet & greet in Leiden!
Are you looking for an inspiring place for a meetup, have a effective teambuilding session or a monthly company meeting? Our meeting venue "De Brandmeester" (The Firemaster) in Leiden is situated in a historical building in the city centre of Leiden. The building was used for drying firehoses and training firemen. In 2016 the building was transformed by architect and owner Jelle Verheijen and his wife Alice Clijncke. Today we rent out the garden room for meetings. The modern extension (30m²) has all kinds of facilities such as floor heating, good acoustics, thermal insulated glass and ventilation, but is above all a place to meet up in a comfortable environment, so that you have time for each other.
At De Brandmeester we have a super fast WiFi network at your convenience. A full HD screen for presentations and/or a flip chart is also available.
Our "make yourself at home" rule applies. Before the meeting, we'll put hot tea flasks, cold water, cookies and sweets in the meeting room. In our pantry kitchen you'll find a Jura Barista for fresh coffee, cappuccino, espresso or a flat white. It's self service, but what a great way to start the day!
Do you also want to have lunch during the meeting? Local entrepreneurs and caterers offer a wide range of lunches. We'll provide you with their information, so you can order your lunch. We'll provide the necessary plates, cutlery and we'll let our dishwasher do the dishes.
Rates
There are no hidden costs. The use of a presentation screen, WiFi, flip chart and the coffee, tea, cold water, cookies & chocolates is included in the offer.
You make use our meeting room, with a group size of maximum 8 people, for €75,- an hour (excl. 21% BTW/VAT) with a minimum of 2 hours. The HD presentation screen and a flip chart are available at no extra cost. Do you require anything specific? Feel free to enquirer about the possibilities. Do you want to rent the venue for a whole day? We will gladly make you a special offer!
The boardroom table can be extended to host a group of 10.
After the meeting
Get acquainted with Leiden and visit the city centre after your meeting or teambuilding session. In the direct vicinity of De Brandmeester you'll find several historical sites, a botanical garden and a 6 km Singelpark around the city centre, or trending restaurants and cafés. Or check out a museum in Leiden, we've got several of them!
How to get to De Brandmeester
Our facility is located in the historical city centre of Leiden, with good accessibility by public transportion. If you come by car, the Garenmarkt parking facility is only a 5 minute walk.
